PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To insert interdental brushes into interdental portions and to thoroughly remove interdental plaque by locating the interdental brushes at positions corresponding to the interdental portions, positioning them at the recesses and projections of a tooth row so that the bristles of a head are closely stuck to the tooth row, and reciprocating a interdental brush body. SOLUTION: The head of a toothbrush is provided with bristles 24 capable of being combined in an irregular shape of a tooth row, and the bristles 24 are aligned in a crossing system. Interdental brushes 11 are arranged at an interval in the front of an interdental brush body in the head so that the positions of the interdental brushes 11 correspond to interdental portions. The interdental brushes 11 are vertically held by protective tubes at the outlets of the interdental brushes 11, and the interdental brushes 11 are positioned at the recesses and projections of the tooth row so that the bristles 24 of the head are closely stuck to the tooth row. The interdental brush body is reciprocated manually or electrically to advance or retreat, thus the interdental brushes 11 are vertically moved and reciprocated in the interdental portions.
