PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce packaging cost of packaging equipment structured to package a non-hexahedron polyhedron item in a hexagonal packaging condition using a corrugated cardboard packaging material. SOLUTION: This packaging equipment packages a non hexahedron polyhedron item 1 included with a corrugated cardboard packaging material 10 in a hexagonal packaging condition. In this case, a corrugated cardboard prism tube cushioning material 11 for filling a gap is stored in a gap formed by the item 1 and the packaging material 10 inside face.
