PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plate working machine which is high in working accuracy, low in manufacturing cost and carrying cost, and excellent in durability. SOLUTION: A frame 2 is provided with a base part 21, a support part 22 located away from the base part 21, and a connection part 23 to connect one end of the base part 21 to one end of the support part 22, and an approximately U-shaped side surface capable of inserting a plate in a space between the base part 21 and the support part 22. In a bending means 3, one end is fixed to the other end of the base part 21, the other end is fixed to the other end of the support part 22, and the plate is pressed in the thickness direction. A first guide is provided on the base part 21. A second guide is provided on the support part 22 parallel to the first guide. One end of a reinforcing member is slidably supported by the first guide, and the other end is slidably supported by the second guide, and the reinforcing member is provided approximately parallel to the pressing direction of the working means. Since the stress exerted in the frame 2 is dispersed in the reinforcing member, the deformation of the frame 2 is small.
