PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the approach stroke in a press-driven type hydraulic pressure generating device, to increase the responsiveness in generating the hydraulic pressure, to improve the durability, to miniaturize the device, and to reduce the manufacturing cost. SOLUTION: A piston member 4 has an annular piston 5 for pressurization which is movable fitted in a cylinder hole 3 and an input piston 7 which is partially engaged with the annular piston 5 for pressurization in an approximately integratedly elevating/lowering manner, and the drive force is inputted, a locking member 15 to lock the annular piston 5 for pressurization to the top dead center position from an upper part, and a valve mechanism 13 which is opened only when the piston member 4 is at the top dead center position to communicate an oil storage part 9 with the cylinder hole 3 is provided on the piston member 4.
