PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port body wherein when the suction body is detached from a surface to be cleaned during a cleaning operation, exhaust air is prevented from blowing against the surface to be cleaned. SOLUTION: In a suction port body connected to a vacuum cleaner which includes a suction port communicating with a dust collecting chamber provided in a body of the vacuum cleaner and an exhaust air delivery port to release an air flow of an electrically driven blower and removes the dust contained in a suction air flow drawn from the suction port to discharge the suction air flow from the exhaust air delivery port as an exhaust air flow, a rotary cleaning body 160 provided in a suction port body 100 is oriented in opposition to a blowoff port 153 by a movement means 170 when an opening 115 is brought close to a surface to be cleaned F so as to face the surface F, while when the opening 115 is moved away from the surface F, the body 160 is retracted to prevent the exhaust air flow from blowing against the surface F.
