PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an oily cosmetic which gives little greasy touch and feeling of wrongness to skins and is excellent in the wetting effect for preventing skins from drying and its sustainability or the effect for improving chapped skins by including a water-soluble polyhydric alcohol, an oil-soluble monohydric alcohol and a specific glucopyranoside derivative. SOLUTION: This oily cosmetic is obtained by including (A) 0.1-50 wt.% of a water-soluble polyhydric alcohol (e.g. 1,3-butylene glycol, dipropylene glycol or the like), (B) 0.1-50 wt.% of an oil-soluble monohydric alcohol (e.g. a higher aliphatic alcohol or the like such as cetyl alcohol, lauryl alcohol or the like) and (C) 0.01-5 wt.% of a glucopyranoside derivative (e.g. ethyl glucoside, propyl glucoside or the like) of the formula (wherein R is a 2-8C alkyl). The components B and C are preferably blended in proportions of 0.5-10 fold and 0.01-2 fold amounts, respectively, based on the component A, respectively.
