PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To decrease the running speed according to necessity in case working apparatus is to be driven by an on-board engine when a working vehicle furnished with an automatic transmission is in inertial run. SOLUTION: When a neutral pedal 15 at the bottom of the driver's seat of a working vehicle furnished with an automatic transmission 2 is stamped, an aux. brake valve 30 is opened, and a shift controller 16 fed with electric signal from a neutral air switch 31 changes over the automatic transmission 2 forcedly into the neutral mode, so that it is possible to increase the engine speed by stamping an accel. pedal 15 for driving a pump and to operate a hydraulic working apparatus quickly, and at the same time, a pneumatic signal is fed to a relay valve 35 to actuate a service brake as assistant so that the vehicle is decelerated appropriately.
