PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively clean and sterilize pipes of a beer supply line of a dispenser without leaving a stench by using carbonated water as cleaning water. SOLUTION: The beer dispenser supplies beer poured out of a beer barrel 2 by pressurizing carbon dioxide gas supplied from a carbon dioxide gas cylinder 4 to a cup 10 through a beer supply line 8 via a cooling coil 6 and a dispense valve 7 which are provided on a dispenser body 1. In this case, a carbonator 11 which prepares carbonated water from carbon dioxide gas supplied from the cylinder 4 and tap water is mounted on the dispenser body 1, and the carbonated water extracted from the carbonator 11 is made to flow in the beer supply line 8 at the time of cleaning the line 8 for cleaning its pipes. The carbonator 11 is placed to be soaked in a cooling water reservoir 5 for the cooling coil 6 provided in an apparatus, and further a switch valve comprising a combination of a sanitation valve 12 and a beer valve 16 is connected to the beer supply line 8, wherein a channel is connected to the beer barrel normally and switched to the carbonator 11 when cleaning is done.
