FIELD: petroleum processing and petrochemical processes. SUBSTANCE: method involves thermal and thermo-destructive processing operations: electrodesalting and dehydration of crude oil on electrodehydrators; atmospheric vacuum distillation with running off intermediate products: straight-run gasolines, kerosenes, diesel, straw, spindle oil, motor oil fractions, and goudron; and oxidation of goudron and/or goudron-asphalt mixture with air oxygen. At least in the atmospheric vacuum distillation process, heat carrier is steam produced in steam generator and forming partially recycled condensate. Steam at least partly is generated by combustion of associated gas and/or fuel process gas resulting from thermal crude oil processing, and/or gas resulting from thermo-destructive processes in processing of crude oil and/or intermediate products, which gas is fed into gas distribution network at temperature 50-70 C and pressure 3-5 kg/sq.cm. Before combustion, gas is heated to at least 100 C. 60-85% of gas is burned in process furnaces and 15 to 40% of gas is burned in steam generator utilizing recycle condensate supplemented by preheated chemically treated crude water in at least amount required to compensate nonrecoverable condensate. For heating chemically treated crude water and/or crude oil, residual heat is used, in particular, from steam exhausted in crude oil distillation processes and/or from steam condensate, and/or from goudron discharged from vacuum column. EFFECT: increased (by 3%) yields of products, reduced (by 2-3%) power consumption, and improved environmental condition owing to utilization of gas oxidation afterburning system and reduced loss of torch gas. 17 cl, 1 tbl
