FIELD: domestic and industrial gas units; protection of gas supply systems in emergency. SUBSTANCE: automatic thermal valve has body with shut-off member fitted inside it opposite straightway hole. Shut-off member is located with spring and is provided with lock and fuse link. Lock is made in form of washer with spacer tabs on one side and limiting tabs on other side; washer is split. Fuse link is made in form of sleeve with two diametrical slots. Inner cavity of sleeve is filled with easily fusible agent. Rod for fixing the shut-off member is introduced through open end of sleeve. Shut-off member is made in form of ball fitted at eccentricity exceeding or equal to 0.08-0.12 of diameter of ball relative to axis of straightway hole of body. Thickness of easily fusible agent is more than or equal to 0.12- 0.18 of diameter of ball. EFFECT: enhanced accuracy of operation of valve in temperature range. 5 dwg |
