The straight part of the horseshoe in the suction box (1) masks the end of the cleaning scrapers (7). The extract the suspended materials recovered along the vents (2) and retain them on the outside against the side of bars (3). The filtering part uses as filter elements a series of calibrated vents which are arranged in the round and straight part of the suction box of a pump. The calibrated vents are obtained by stacking layers (3) with an internal section removed to fit the horseshoe. The layers, separated by dividers (4) with similar contours but with the hollow part suppressed, give the required thickness to achieve the desired level of filtration. The filter is cleaned by a series of blades driven by hydraulic means, passing between the vents and crossing them to push the material to the edge (8). The energy to drive the system is recovered by a hydromotor bulb installed in the suction pipe (13) of the pump, with a turbine (12) driven by the fluid flow. The turbine slides on its axis in the bulb (11) acting as a non return valve by lifting and resting on its base during suction. The transmission, protected in a box (9) in the base, allows a hydro motor bulb to be used as a means of energy for the system.
