An electrical equipment item or appliance includes at least one slide-in unit (1) fitted with at least one plug-connector piece (6,7) on its back-plane (2). The plug-connector piece and counterpiece are parts of a sub-D plug-connector, in which the plug-connector counterpiece is formed from the plug-connector counter-part (31,32) and is held float-mounted on the back-plane (20) of the equipment item or appliance. The plug-connector piece is formed from the plug-connector part (6,7) of the sub-D plug-connector and is provided with two catch-pins (11,12;16,17) retained in the threaded holes (8,9) and gripping into the lateral entrance holes (35,36) of the plug-connector counterpiece (31,32).
