The inventive measuring device for the contactless measurement of an angle of rotation consists of a soft-magnetic base plate (14) which serves as a rotor. Two segments (16, 17, 16a) are arranged in one plane with the base plate (14) and are separated by a slot (21) and a spacer gap (22) and a third gap (60). The spacer gap (22) is configured as a recess in segment (17). The gap (60) is located in segment (16a) and is likewise configured as a recess. The relation of the size of the spacer gap (22) to the gap (60) can be chosen in such a manner that an offset shift of the characteristic curve is achieved.
