The present invention is for an emptyable waste bin for sorting of wastes which are disposed of into the bin. The waste bin comprises at least two compartments (9, 10) which are hung at a vertical shaft (1) which is rotatab le mounted beneath a work table (3) by means of a bearing and mounting arrangement at the upper end of the shaft. The compartments (9, 10) are detachably hung at the shaft (1). Preferably the shaft is a square tubular hollow profile.
