The invention relates to a writing utensil, especially a ball-point pen, comprising a shaft and a writing cartridge. The invention is characterized in that the shaft is configured as an inflatable hollow body (1), preferably made of a plastic film, whereby the shaft body contains an inflation valve (2), and the writing cartridge (4) is stored in a pocket (3) on the outer side of said shaft body in such a manner that it can be exchanged.
