摘要 Ultrasound dehydration device applied to a filter made of ceramic, textile or any other material or porous structure, operated by vacuum or pressure means for the solid-liquid separation of solid particles in suspensions. The ultrasound device actuates on the slurry paste (cake) which forms at the surface of the filter as a result of the filtration cycle in the liquid medium. The device is comprised of one or a plurality of transducers (5) which irradiate by direct contact the cake (3) formed at the surface of the filter (1). The device operates during the cake dehydration phase, that is when the filter is outside the suspension. The invention discloses the ultrasound device and process which are applicable to a conventional filtering system activated by vacuum or pressure.
