A composition is disclosed comprising: (A) a thermoplastic resin; and (B) a stabilizing amount of a blend of at least one sterically hindered phenol antioxidant, at least one secondary amine antioxidant and/or at least one N, N'- substituted oxamide, and at least one thioether antioxidant. The composition may also comprise carbon black and/or glass. A method is also disclosed for stabilizing a thermoplastic resin, which may also contain carbon black and/o r glass, wherein the method comprises adding to the resin a stabilizing amount of at least one sterically hindered phenol antioxidant, at least one seconda ry amine antioxidant and/or at least one N,N'-substituted oxamide antioxidant, and at least one thioether antioxidant.
