The radii of curvature of the guides are at least smaller than 50 mm and the guide elements are designed in their height and length extending in the direction of movement of the shutter so that the latter can move round the radii of curvature. Preferred Features: Where the roller shutter has strips (24) the strips have a length of less than 15 mm extending in the direction of movement of the shutter.
