<p>A novel chimeric polypeptide comprising klotho protein and immunoglobulin bonded thereto which remains stable in the blood and is usable in treating or preventing diseases wherein klotho gene participates; a DNA encoding this chimeric polypeptide; a process for producing the chimeric polypeptide; remedies/preventives with the use of the chimeric polypeptide or the DNA encoding the same; a method for detecting and quantitating a molecule interacting with the klotho protein; and a method for cloning a gene encoding a protein interacting with the klotho protein.</p> |
