The ski mounted base (2) for a ski binding has longitudinally adjustable front and rear binding supports (6,8) to engage the front and a rear boot couplings. The supports are adjusted simultaneously longitudinally to engage the boot via gear drive. The gear drive has toothed racks (11,12) engaged by a gear wheel (13) between them. The gear wheel has an adjuster mounted on the ski boot. The racks move transversely of the ski. |
