The process performs laser recording of the files of the application through a conventional mastering process. It is characterized by the recording, during the mastering process, of at least two frames (T1, T2) of files which do not contain any file of the application and between which at least one file of the application must exist. A plurality of complementary files which are very similar to the files of the application are recorded so that the total recording exceeds the total recording time allocated in blank discs which are available in the market. Thereafter, laser marks (M1-M3) are made by overwriting the files arranged in the frames (T1-T2), said marks being unreadable for the CD-ROM reader; thereby, even if the marks are skipped when making a copy, it is necessary to eliminate files so that they can get into the standard blank disc.
