For image stabilised bionculars the adjustment of the inter-ocular distance is always subject to complications. The present invention describes an image stabilised binocular of the kind where two image turning prims are jointly attached to a cardanic bearing. Adapting for the eye distance of the user is accomplished by means of adjustment of the inter-ocular distance at the same time as the objectives are displaced the same distance in the opposite direction. The invention also describes a principle of performing such as displacement of the objectives and the oculars. With the present invention the size and weight of the binocular is minimized. |
