Treatment process of rabbit and hare skins and apparatus for making the same

The present invention relates to treating skins when producing felt in hat-making and other industrial branches. The process concerns removal of hair from skins, their disintegration by frazzling in order to increase felting. This is carried out particularly by a controlled pickling and drying. The invention further describes an apparatus for making this process i.e. a line with cutting, pickling and drying equipment. The apparatus thus consists of a cutting machine (1) with a conveyor belt (2), on which there is located behind the cutting machine (1) an ultrasonic device (3) or a radiation device (4). The apparatus can be further provided with a pickling device (5) being followed up with a free conveyor belt at the end of which there is situated a drying equipment (6). The pickling device (5) consists of a frame (8) with a tank (11) and on the frame (8) the conveyor belt (2) is moving. Above the conveyor belt (2) there is disposed a spraying and/or misting head (9) with nozzles and from outside the device is encompassed by a trough, whereby the tank (11) and the spraying and/or misting head (9) are interconnected with a storage tank (12) of pickling mixture and with a controlled volume pump (13).
