An inner tire for a wheel includes reinforcement so that it can not exceed a predetermined maximum volume and that under normal conditions it does not contact the tire. An Independent claim is also included for a pressure change system for a vehicle tire, comprising an inner tire mounted on the rim, a first valve enabling gas to deflate from the tire, and a second valve enabling flow of gas from the inner tire to the tire.
