<p>The weapon has a frame or breech block on which a barrel (3) is fitted. The barrel has a drum (18) with holes on a circular ring for accommodating cartridges, projectiles, etc. The drum can rotate around an axis parallel to the barrel's longitudinal axis. It is activated by a lever (31,41) to rotate and exactly align a hole with the barrel aperture. The lever is connected to the weapon's trigger (4). The barrel is longitudinally movable in a straight line between a firing and a loading position in the breech block. In the loading position, the trigger is automatically locked against operation. One arm (48) of a double-armed lever (45) pivots around an axis to be located by a spring force radially against the axis of the drum, whilst the other arm (49), in the loading position, engages in the movement path of the lever connected with the trigger.</p> |
