PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a standing assisting device in which the buttocks are lifted up when an aged person or a sick person having weak legs tries to stand up from a chair, and in which arm rest parts slide forward to support arms to move a gravity center at the part of the buttocks forward and upward, so the seated person can easily stand up alone. SOLUTION: A lift plate 2 is provided at a lower part of a seat surface part 1, a lift part 3 fixed to the lift plate 2 is provided, and a lift elevation gear 4 is provided at a back part of the lift part 3. This lift elevation gear 4 is connected to an electric motor 5, and slide arm rest parts 7 to be pulled forward from arm rest parts 6 are provided on the right and the left.
