PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily correct or change with few operations a telephone number which has already been registered to an abbreviated number. SOLUTION: A storage part 101 stores a telephone for every abbreviated number. An inputting part 102 inputs information about the change of a telephone number registered with the storing part 101. A number calling part 105 successively calls telephone numbers registered with the part 101. A retrieval editing part 104 retrieves a telephone number to be changed among telephone numbers called by the number calling part 105, according to the information inputted by the inputting part 102 and further edits the retrieved telephone number. A registering part 106 reregisters the telephone number edited by the retrieval editing part 104 with the part 101.
