PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily provide translated sentences to be used before and after a translated sentence in a second language while reducing the labor of input of a user by providing the translated sentence from a free sentence inputted in a first language and displaying sentences belonging to the same conversation scene as sentences inputted just before. SOLUTION: An analytic part 9 analyzes input data recognized by an input recognizing part 4. A retrieval part 10 retrieves a bilingual data base 7 and a semantic primitive dictionary 8 stored in a ROM 6. A registration part 11 stores the displayed translated sentences in a memory 5 for work or displays the stored translated sentences. Then, the user inputs a sentence to be translated, detects a semantic primitive from the sentence, detects a routine sentence from the semantic primitive and displays the translated sentence. Besides, the routine sentence is displayed by selecting any conversation scene as well. Namely, by providing the translated sentence and displaying sentences belonging to the same conversation scene as sentences inputted jut before, translated sentences to be used before and after that translated sentence can be easily provided. |
