PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize a telephone directory function that can collectively register plural telephone numbers by providing a control part which shows some on a displaying part among plural telephone numbers in an extracted data storing part and sets them to a transmitting part, when a deciding part decides that connection can not be made. SOLUTION: A deciding part 5 outputs the information of a tone signal state to a control part 1. The control part 1 selects another telephone number stored in an extracted data storing part and shows it on a displaying part 2. When a user desires to transmit the other telephone number, the control part 1 sets the displayed telephone number to a transmitting part 9 and transmits it to the selected telephone number. When it does not turn into a speech communication state, the control part 1 selects another telephone number, which is stored in the extracted data storing part 4 and is not yet transmitted and shows it on the displaying part 2. When the telephone number of a transmission destination is not connected even if a call is made at the number of preset times, the transmission to the telephone number of the transmission destination is stopped, and the ring counter of the controlling part 1 selects a telephone number other than the discontinued telephone number.
