<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inexpensively provide an electromagnetic brake capable of easily performing opening/closing operation of a magnetic path. SOLUTION: A flange part 3d, screw groove 3e, and an annular groove 3f are formed in a cylinder part 3c of an outside yoke member 3. A magnetic flux detour member 8 abutting to an end face of the flange part 3d is screwed to the screw groove 3e. The magnetic flux detour member 8 is separated from the flange part 3d, so as to increase magnetic path resistance of magnetic flux of a permanent magnet 5. Accordingly, braking of an armature 15 can be released even without carrying a current in a demagnetizing coil 6.</p> |
