<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide terminal equipment which automatically locks the power switch of a terminal in accordance with the turn-off of the power switch of a display device for saving power by installing a terminal power saving device which drives a power locking unit so that the power switch of the display device is turned off and the power switch of the terminal is kept to be on while the terminal and the display devices are operated. SOLUTION: A terminal power saving device driving a power locking unit so that the power switch of a display device is turned off and the power switch of a terminal is kept to be on while the terminal and the display device are operated is installed. When a power controller 9 receives information for turning on the terminal power saving device 8 from a receiver 10, it turns off a power source 11 incorporated in the terminal power saving device 8 and transmits a signal for starting a power locking unit 14 to the terminal 1. When the power source 11 is turned off, the power of the display device 2 is turned off. When the power locking unit 14 between the power source 5 and the power switch 3 is started, the power source 5 and a terminal main body 6 are not cut even if the power switch 3 is depressed.</p> |
