<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent deterioration in quality of a received signal and reduction in number of terminals to be accommodated because signal components received in different demodulation timings for each signal components are received as an interference signal due to distortion caused through transmission lines. SOLUTION: In the mobile station reception method for a down link in the code division multiple access CDMA cellular system where a mobile station receives a reception signal receiving transmission line distortion resulting from a signal transmitted by a base station and passing through a plurality of radio lines with different delay times, the mobile station uses a filter 203 whose frequency characteristic is reverse to that of the radio lines causing the line distortion to equalize the signal sent from the base station and to demodulate the equalized signal. Since a desired signal and an interference signal from the base station connecting to each mobile station and received by the mobile station pass through a same channel, the signals receive equal distortion. Thus, interference by an undesired signal having a different timing from that of the desired signal is eliminated by equalizing the line distortion caused in the received signal.</p> |
