摘要 <p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a toner superior in fixability and offset resistance and uniform and stable in chargeability and to obtain a good picture small in fog by using a cross-linked polyester resin as a binder resin having a monocarboxylic ester in the terminal of the molecule. SOLUTION: The binder resin to be used is a cross-linked poly-ester resin having a monocarboxylic acid ester at the terminal of the molecule and the polyester resin comprises a dicarboxylic acid component and a diol component, and further, a monocarboxylic component, a >=3-valent polybasic carboxylic acid and/or a >=3-valent polyol, and it has a chemical molecular structure in accordance with the above components. It is preferred that the binder resin has a glass transition point (Tg) of 50-85 deg.C in order to render blocking resistance and durability at the time of development and it has a softening point of 90-170 deg.C measured by a standard ring and ball method, thus permitting the obtained toner to be superior in fixability and offset resistance and to be charged stably and uniformly and to obtain a good picture small in fog.</p>
