PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic mail to a network by making an electronic mail operation to be used by a radio data communication network executed by a mobile device, even when the mobile device is not able to use the radio data communication network. SOLUTION: Mobile devices 102 and 104, included in a radio data communication system 100, is connected to a network gateway 106 through a radio network 108. The gateway 106 exchanges information with a mail server 110. The network gateway 106 and the mail server 110 are interconnected through a network 112, such as the Internet. The mail server 110 manages the storage and distribution of an electronic mail message at an appropriate place (e.g. the mobile devices 102 and 104). The mobile devices 102 and 104 can accomplish many electronic mail functions, even when the network is not available to the mobile devices.
