PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply attach an ink impregnation member to the ink impregnation member holding part of an ink ribbon cassette so as to prevent the movement thereof in a longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: Plural sets of inclined pointed holding projections 62, 64 extending to the interior of the holding part 50 of an ink impregnation member 40 are formed to the opposed long walls 52, 54 of the holding part 50 and inclined at arranging anglesθa1,θb1 with respect to the ink impregnation member 40 and the leading end parts of the projections 62, 64 are formed into a pointed shape to be inclined at inclined anglesθa2,θb2 with respect to the ink impregnation member 40. When the ink impregnation member 40 is inserted in the gaps between the holding projections 62, 64 to be longitudinally slid to a predetermined position, it is not returned in the opposite direction.
