PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate unnecessary time, and to lighten the load on an operator in the stabilization waiting time until an analysis is started after a light source is lit up. SOLUTION: A standard sample is arranged at the cell of a sample chamber 6, a light with a detection wavelength is applied to the cell of the sample chamber 6 by an optical system 10, and a detection signal in the detection wavelength is obtained. Then, by a noise reference value setting part 16, 1/10 of the intensity of the detection signal in the detection wavelength is sent to a stabilization judgment part 14 as a noise reference valueΔNS. At a drift reference value setting part 18, according to the column temperature of a chromatograph 20 and a solvent composition and/or drift measurement timeΔTD, an appropriate drift reference valueΔDS is read from the information group of the drift reference value being stored in advance and is sent to the stabilization judgment part 14. At the stabilization judgment part 14, drift measurement and noise measurement are started, and an analysis start signal is sent to the chromatograph 20 when driftΔD and noiseΔN become smaller than theΔDS andΔNS, respectively.
