PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate adjustment of interval between a recording head or a carriage and a recording medium or a platen by moving first and second elongated holes relatively while supporting one end of a guide member at the intersection of both holes. SOLUTION: A first elongated hole 252 is made in a chassis 1 perpendicularly to a recording material. A lead screw 213 has left end being positioned by a recovery system plate and right end being adjusted by the first elongated hole 252 with reference to the left end such that the lead screw 213 will be parallel with the recording material. An adjusting spring 250 is provided with a second elongated hole 253 for regulating movement of the right end of the lead screw 213 in the direction perpendicular to the recording material such that the adjusting spring 250 will be parallel with the recording material when it is fixed to the chassis 1. Right end of the lead screw 213 is supported by the first and second elongated holes 252, 253 and the lead screw 213 can be adjusted in parallel with the recording material by moving the adjusting spring 250 provided with the second elongated hole 253 perpendicular to the recording material. |
