PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a composite false-twisted yarn having functional stretchability and naturally irregular thickness touch with visually and physically uneven touch by regularly or irregularly imparting slub-like parts an paralleled parts to the arbitrary positions of the yarn in the longitudinal direction, and to provide a method for producing the same. SOLUTION: This composite false twisted yarn comprises parts I and part II. In the parts I, a filament yarn B as sheath portions is entangled on the core portions comprising a filament yarn A in a slub-like state. I the parts II, the filament yarn A and the filament B are blended in a paralleled state. The parts I entangled in the slub-like state are formed in spindle shapes comprising loops and false-twisted crimps. The parts II blended in the paralleled state are weakly crimped and intermittently entangled. The lengths and thickness of the parts I entangled in the slub-like state and the lengths and thickness of the parts II entangled in the paralleled state are irregular or regular, respectively.
