PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent adverse effects on the clamp circuit for a noise bar caused in the special reproduction state of a VTR. SOLUTION: A video signal is delivered to a video signal transmission line 12 via a capacitor 10, from which the signal is outputted via an output transistor 26. A constant current source 14 is connected to the video signal transmission line 12 and supplies a constant current to the line 12. The current of the constant current source 14 is set smaller in the nonstandard mode representing a special reproduction state of a VTR. Then a voltage drop through the video signal transmission line 12 is decreased and follow up to the input video signal slows down, so as to reduce the adverse effects of noise bar.
