PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cover fitting device by which a cover can be replaced easily and users' requirements be satisfied easily when the cover with a design suited to the users' requirements is fitted to a device body. SOLUTION: A jig such as a screwdriver, etc., is inserted into another operation hole 42 and it is hooked in the working hole 43 of a movable hinge pin unit 38 on a cover side, and pressed to the left direction so as to move the hinge pin unit 38 leftward and house a hinge pin 40 on a cover side in a hinge case 22. Then the hinge pin 40 is removed from the bush 47 of an insertion hole 20B on the right end face 19b of a hinge insertion part 19, and a fixed hinge pin 45 on a cover side is removed from the bush 46 of an insertion part 20A of a cover 8, thereby removing the cover 8 from a hinge unit 9. Another cover 8 is fitted to the hinge unit 9 in reverse order.
