PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a broad-band amplifier circuit which has a relatively simple circuitry and can amplify signals in a broad frequency band and an application circuit using the amplifier circuit. SOLUTION: In an amplifier circuit having an input circuit which uses an active element 14 provided with base-, emitter-, and collector-corresponding terminals and in which the input signal voltage from the emitter-corresponding terminal to the earth is higher than that from the base-corresponding terminal to the earth, the signal frequency between the collector- and base-correcting terminals is set at a high impedance and an output circuit 23 which becomes a load is connected between the collector- and emitter-corresponding terminals.
