PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna mechanism by which can antenna can be pulled out properly regardless of the holding state of electronic equipment. SOLUTION: When the speech button 16 of a portable telephone set 10 is depressed, the projecting section 18a of a stopper 18 is forcedly ejected from a through hole 11a and, as a result, the stopper 18 is unlocked, because the front end of a projecting section 16a is moved leftward to the position at which the front end passes through at least the hole 11a shown in the figure. When the stopper 18 is released, the stopper 18 and an antenna 17 are moved upward by the spring force of a spring 19 and the antenna 17 is pulled out of an enclosure 11. Therefore, both the operation for speech and the antenna 17 pulling-out operation can be performed simultaneously by one operation of pressing the button 16 by utilizing the spring force of the spring 19.
