VANE FOR ROTARY COMPRESSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vane for a rotary compressor which is hardly worn and adhered on a sliding plane. SOLUTION: A vane for a rotary compressor in a plate shape having sliding ends held to be slidable to either a cylinder defining an operating space or a rotor arranged in the operating space of the cylinder for rotation and put in slide contact with the other sliding plane comprises a mainbody formed of Fe based alloy of Hv 400 or more and a coating having a Cr2N structure integrally formed at least on the surface of the mainbody at its sliding end and orientated thereto and made of Cr, N and C. Because the vane for the rotary compressor is hardly adhered on a sliding plane, a rotary compressor using the vane for the rotary compressor provides effective and long service.
