SCREW AUGER AND GROUND REINFORCING METHOD USING IT BY PRECAST PILE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To drive a precast pile into the ground with small noise by means of a simple device such as a truck auger for reducing execution costs in penetrating precast piles. SOLUTION: A screw auger 1 having a precast pile 2 coaxially in a shaft 3 is normally rotated to make an excavation hole 27 downward of a soft ground 25, and the soil 28 discharged when making the hole 27 is returned to the hole 27 and the screw auger 1 is rotated in the opposite direction to harden the soil 28. Then, the screw auger 1 is extracted upward from the hole 27 while hardening the soil 28 and leaving the precast pile in the hole 27.
