PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To let rush-out cross-feed cutting be carried out by letting the cutting edge constitution and mounting stiffness of a tip end blade tip be improved. SOLUTION: This tip end blade tip 1 for a ball end mill is formed out of a four side surface board composed of inclined arc-shaped side surfaces 5 and 5 followed by a long side surface 3, and a short side surface 4, and it offers a symmetrical shape capable of being used when it is turned over on the basis of its upper surface 6 and the lower surface. Each belt shaped surface 8 formed out of a projected curved surface toward the thickness center of the long side surface, is formed up in the corner portion of the long side surface 3 and the arc shaped side surfaces 5 and 5 or a rake face side constituted of the upper surface 6 or lower surface. And each inclined surface 9 intersected with each belt shaped surface 8 is formed up at the opposite side of each belt shaped surface 8 while being adjacent to each arc shaped side surface 5.
