PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To fix a wire surely without coming out from a spool, even if the wire for welding is the wire containing a flux, by forming the initial end of the wire formed inside the wind trunk through the hole for inserting the wire of the wind trunk of the spool in a loop state. SOLUTION: The tip of the wire W for welding is set in the state that the tip of it is inserted from the hole 12a for inserting the wire of a spool 10 mounted on the flange 21 for mounting the spool in the inside of a wind trunk 12 and is passed through the space between the pins 23a, 23b for forming a loop facing each other. The pins 23a, 23b for forming the loop are rotated in a clockwise direction around the center of a pin rotation axis 22 and the initial end WS of the wire WS with a closed loop shape on a plane view is formed. When the wire W for welding is extracted and the residual amount of the wire gets less at the welding time and the tensile force by the wire extraction is applied to the initial end WS of the loop shape wire, it is held so as to be squeezed and fixed to the spool 10.
