PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a faucet tap such that mounting of a base and connection of a feedwater pipe can be performed on the top of a washstand. SOLUTION: A faucet tap is secured to a subject on which to mount it, such as a washstand, by a faucet base having at one end a base 20 on which a gooseneck 10 is mounted in a single operation and having at the other end a connection for connecting a feedwater pipe. In that case, the base 20 has a water passage 24 provided in its center, a base part 21 provided around the upper end of the water passage and having the gooseneck connected thereto, a connection provided at the lower end of the water passage and having the feedwater pipe connected thereto, at least two screws 25b freely rotationally provided on the side part of the water passage along the longitudinal direction of the water passage, and at least two flaps 25c biased and attached to the screws and turned and then raised or lowered by the rotation of the screws.
