PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for intricate welding to mount a cooling pipe and to prevent the short-circuiting due to the leakage of cooling water by providing a cooling jacket around a reaction vessel to be induction-heated. SOLUTION: Cooling jackets 2 and 3 in which a cooling medium flows in direction of the arrow are provided vertically around a reaction vessel 4 with an induction heater 1 in between, and hence the wall of the reaction vessel is clearly divided into a heating region and a cooling region. The jackets 2 and/or 3 are used in accordance with the cooling condition. Consequently, intricate welding to mount a cooling pipe can be dispensed with, and the short- circuiting due to the leakage of cooling water is not caused. Consequently, the discovery of abnormality and repairing are facilitated as compared with a cooling system using an internal cooling pipe, and the maintenance cost is drastically reduced. |
