PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shower unit capable of preventing cold water from gushing out at the start of use of a shower. SOLUTION: A portion downstream of a mixing valve is separated into a shower duct 2, a faucet duct 4, and a temperature-regulating duct 5 and a directional control valve 6 is provided at a portion where they are separated from one another. The temperature-regulating duct 5 is communicated to the faucet duct 4 by a faucet communicating duct 7 and to the shower duct 2 by a shower communicating duct 8. A selector valve 9 for selectively changing the communication of the temperature-regulating duct 5 between the faucet communicating duct 7 and the shower communicating duct 8 is provided in the temperature-regulating duct 5. A temperature detection means 10 for detecting the temperature of hot water is provided in the temperature-regulating duct 5. The selector valve 9 is switched so that when the temperature of the hot water detected by the temperature detection means 10 is not higher than a predetermined set temperature, the temperature-regulating duct 5 is communicated to the faucet communicating duct 7, and so that when the temperature of the hot water is above the set temperature, the temperature-regulating duct 5 is communicated to the shower communicating duct 8.
