PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slope stabilizing method capable of further enhancing the slope-stabilizing effect of linear elements connecting aligned anchors together. SOLUTION: A linear element mounting tool 14 having a plurality of short linear elements 13 linked to the periphery thereof is attached to each anchor 11. The anchors 11 are installed in an appropriate distribution on a slope. The short linear elements 13 of the linear element mounting tools 14 of the adjacent anchors 11 are connected together, either directly or via intermediate linear elements 24. When the linear element mounting tools 14 are lowered by turning the nut parts 21 of the linear element mounting tools 14, tensions are applied to the short linear elements 13 and the intermediate linear elements 24. Therefore, the linear elements between the anchors 11 connect the anchors 11 together by means of not only simple horizontal tensions but also downward tensions along the anchors, thus producing not only the effect of enhancing the proper function of the anchors 11 but also the effect of binding soil by causing the linear elements themselves to press the ground, leading to a good slope- stabilizing effect.
